My name is Maira and I go by Myda (Spanish name). I recently graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula and am excited to begin working as a school speech therapist. I grew up in Rapelje, Montana which is a very small farming town in southern Montana where I helped my parents in their beekeeping business. I am an avid baker, gardener, and enjoy outdoor recreation. I am excited to be part of MAEC and work in rural schools-which are close to my heart. I really enjoy learning about phonology and literacy, apraxia of speech, as well as social-emotional learning. I'm thrilled to be part of this team and to be part of the school community!
